Emily Brown is an Undergraduate student at Northern Illinois University, pursuing double majors in Computer Science and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. She has been working as a research assistant at the ddiLab since 2020, working on various project related to audio processing, artificial intelligence, and audio classification. In 2021, she worked as a Summer Research Aide at Argonne National Lab, developing tools for introducing high school students to artificial intelligence concepts.
